Introduction

'CRUSTAXE' is a synergistic combination of plant-derived semiochemicals that precisely targets the planktonic copepod crustaceans by avoiding all the unintended negative effects on the ecosystem. It is a phytogenic feed through repellent that alters the directional response of copepodid larvae by masking their attraction towards salmon. 'CRUSTAXE' is an eco-friendly sea lice treatment that has the ability to interfere with host location and disrupt copepodid settlement.

Recommendation

1 kg per metric ton of feed (0.1%) for one week (7 days) as a preventive treatment to start the reduction in host locating behavior.
2 kg per metric ton of feed (0.2%) in cases of higher mean lice per fish or as recommended by aquaculture consultants.
