Diaretard

Introduction

Gastrointestinal infections in dogs or cats mostly occur due to the presence of opportunistic pathogens like C. difficile, E. coli, Giardai, intestinal parasites, disturbed metabolic conditions, and microbial imbalances induced by antibiotics. The recent studies suggest that the ingestion of living microorganisms play a vital role in prevention and treatment of intestinal infections. 'Diaretard' contains the yeast Saccharomyces boulardii which is a gut-friendly probiotic pet supplement. Administration S. boulardii prevents and treats antibiotic induced diarrhea, also efficiently prevents recurrence of C. difficile associated pet diarrhea. 'Diaretard' helps to prevent diarrhea in pets by modulating the intestinal microbiota and improving intestinal barrier functions and inhibition of pathogen adhesion.

Recommendation

Powder: 100 to 150 g per tonne of feed, or as recommended by the veterinarian
