Introduction

For aquaculture farmers searching for probiotics, ‘VINYEAST AQUA’ is a product consisting of live yeast culture for fish and shrimps derived from Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Because of its nutritional content and easy supply in dried form, it is extensively used in aquatic farm animals as natural growth promoter.Its composition is 90–97 percent dry matter and can contain from 40 to 45 percent crude protein nitrogen, 25–35 percent carbohydrates, and 3–7 percent lipids which helps to improve performance in aquaculture. A quite important fraction of the nitrogen is in the form of nucleic acids. ‘VINYEAST AQUA’ also contains glutamic acid and lysine, is also naturally rich in B vitamins, such as biotin, thiamine, and folic acid.

Recommendation

Shrimp / Prawns: 2 to 5 kg/tonne of feed
Fish: 1 to 3 kg/tonne of feed
